Thanks to your support, your stories, and your shared moments with us, this dream has come to life in ways we could only have imagined.
Over the past twelve months, we’ve been honored to receive meaningful recognition, including a place on Travel + Leisure’s It List, Architectural Digest’s Hotel Great Design Awards, Esquire’s Best New Hotels in the World 2025, USA Today’s 10 Best New Hotels in the US list, TripAdvisor’s #1 Hotel in Portland, and more. Join Our Birthday Scavenger Hunt: May 17th
We’re marking the occasion with a lighthearted scavenger hunt that invites you to explore The Longfellow in playful new ways. Here’s how you can join in:
- Twinflower Café | 8am–2pm: Bring us a flower—any bloom will do, even one picked along the way—and trade it for a tasty surprise crafted by our café team.
- Five of Clubs Bar | 3pm–10pm: Show us a five of clubs playing card at the bar and enjoy a complimentary sweet treat on us.
- Astraea Spa | 9am–8pm: Share your favorite wellness tip with the spa team and receive a free sample of Alice mushroom chocolate—a small gift in the spirit of self-care.
A Special Invitation for Our Hotel Guests:
Throughout the month of May, guests staying with us are invited to participate in our Haiku Contest. Write a haiku inspired by your experience at The Longfellow—whether it’s a moment of stillness, a spark of connection, or simply the spirit of Portland itself. We’ll share our favorite entries on social media, where our community will help choose the winner. The prize? A complimentary future night at The Longfellow.*
